The Site safety signs are a part of our range of multi-message signs. They can be used to display several safety messages on one sign, customised to meet your needs. Multi-message signs should follow the design principles of BS EN ISO 7010:2012 to ensure maximum levels of message comprehension. The Site safety signs can be placed at the appropriate locations on the work site.
Due to the high risks still prevalent from asbestos, it is essential that appropriate warnings are made. More information and advice can be found under The Control of Asbestos Regulations (2012).
Please note we offer next day courier delivery on standard products ordered before 2pm and free courier delivery on orders over £75.
Health and safety signs regulations
The Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) – Regulations 1996, requires employers to ensure that safety signs are provided (or are in place). The safety signs should be maintained in circumstances where there is a significant risk to health and safety that has not been removed or controlled by other methods.
The Regulations implement European Council Directive 92/58/EEC on minimum requirements for the provision of safety signs at work. The Directive standardises safety signs throughout member states of the European Union (EU) so that wherever a particular safety sign is seen it provides the same message. The intention is that workers moving from site to site, such as service engineers, will not be faced with different signs at different workplaces.
There are viewing distance guides available on our safety sign buying guide page. These assist in determining the appropriate size of safety signs under various light conditions.
